Job Description
Climate change and global economic instability are intensifying the challenges of poverty, food insecurity, and biodiversity loss in rural communities across eastern Africa.
Farm Africa has been working in the eastern African region for almost forty years, supporting communities in addressing those challenges and improving livelihoods through sustainable and effective agriculture.
As we approach the end of our current strategic period, we begin an exciting new period and are seeking a dynamic leader to Chair our high-calibre Board of Trustees.
This unpaid, voluntary position requires a time commitment of 15 to 20 days per year.
The role is challenging and extremely rewarding. You will work with an expert, collaborative, committed, and engaged team of high-calibre Trustees.
Farm Africa is a respected INGO, and as we approach the end of our current strategic period, our Chair and the Board of Trustees will play an active role in shaping our future to increase our reach and impact.
