About Us
The Patients Association is an independent charity championing improvements in health and social care for patients. We work directly with patients, providing vital information and support through our helpline while advocating for their rights and needs through our projects and campaigns.
The Role
As our Communications and Marketing Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our efforts to ensure patient partnership in the design and delivery of health and care services. You'll develop and execute strategies that raise our profile, engage stakeholders, and support our campaigning and fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver impactful communications and marketing strategies
- Lead media engagement and stakeholder communications
- Develop and manage our digital presence, including website and social media channels
- Produce high-quality content for various platforms and audiences
- Analyse and report on the effectiveness of our communications efforts.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in communications and marketing roles
- Strong track record in media relations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the healthcare or charity sector (preferred)
- Passion for improving patient experience in healthcare.

Location: Online, with occasional trips to our shared office in Kings Cross, London.
