Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and highly motivated individual who is looking to develop their career in Governance.  In this role you will provide comprehensive, high quality governance services to our Boards of Trustees and Non-Executive Directors. You will ensure that the Boards can deliver their responsibilities by providing planning, advice, oversight and scrutiny of governance activities.

This role oversees our governance framework ensuring that all Board and Committee meetings are scheduled and organised, minutes recorded and action lists monitored; relevant policies are in place and statutory registers are maintained.

In addition, you will be supporting the implementation and delivery of our ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Strategy.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with senior administration/PA experience which includes governance activities, knowledge of Charity Commission guidelines and experience of working with senior stakeholders.  You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail, especially in written work and be highly organised.  You will also be flexible and adaptable to changing work demands.

Some experience of delivery of ESG actions is desirable, but not essential.
