A unique opportunity to apply for a new role bringing our fundraisers together into a new team to grow and develop our fundraising income.
Join our friendly team
We’re looking for someone with strong leadership and relationship building skills, who will enjoy inspiring and motivating others to support our cause. Ideally from an Individual Giving background with experience in direct marketing and legacy marketing you will lead the team delivering income across a broad range of sources including individual giving, events, community, trusts and foundations, major gifts and partnerships. If you have relevant transferable skills and a passion for fundraising, we encourage you to apply, even if you feel you may not meet all the criteria listed.
Our charity
The MS Trust is a UK charity here to help everyone make sense of MS. We are here for everyone affected by MS, from the moment of diagnosis and throughout their journey. Having recently merged with another MS charity (MS Research, Treatment & Education), there is real excitement about the future and the positive impact the merger will make, and this role is key to realising some of the opportunity this brings.
The role
This is an exciting time to join the MS Trust after we recently merged with MS Research, Treatment & Education to form one charity with big plans to make a real difference to the lives of people with MS. You will use strong leadership skills to bring together and support the fundraising team during this time of change. You will be accountable for managing all fundraising activity and overseeing fundraising income and expenditure. You’ll work collaboratively to develop and implement a long-term strategy to deliver fundraising growth and sustainability of our income sources.
As a member of our leadership team, you will also play a key role in the delivery of our strategy and mission, be a champion of our values and help to shape our growth and culture as we develop as an organisation.
